Along with the support of the National School Chaplaincy and Student Welfare Program (NSCP) Doxa School offers an extensive Wellbeing support program.

In 2016 the school appointed a designated Wellbeing Leader who coordinates a team of tertiary qualified Youth and Social workers to provide support to our students individually and in class and small groups.

Our Wellbeing team supports our students with many complex personal, educational, social and emotional needs.

The team also provide valuable support to our Social and Emotional Learning program, working with classes and small groups as required. They work closely with our Teaching team to support the provision of a whole person approach to Academic Learning and Personal Growth so important in our students development.

Wellbeing support at Doxa School supports our Positive Behaviour Program, encouraging all members of our Community to be Safe, Kind and Curious.

All of our programs at Doxa School are informed by a Whole Person Student Centred approach informed by our key pillars, Our Catholic Identity, Choice Theory, Trauma Sensitive Practice and Social and Emotional Literacy.
